These burger buns are made with the Pain de Mie dough. They have a soft crust and are topped with sesame seeds. This will bring your burger to the next level! (cue epic music) It is a cross between a Brioche and the more familiar white bread.
The richness of the dough is the result of its high milk and butter content which gives it a soft crumb, unlike the brioche, though, no eggs are mixed into the dough. After it has risen, the Pain de Mie dough is brushed with an egg wash and baked to a golden shine. It is PERFECT for grilled cheese.
